Announcing: A Fun New Feature to Help Build Your Family Tree
20 Dec 2010
We’re excited to let you in on a new Mundia feature that makes building your family tree faster, easier and more fun! Now you can collect points, earn badges and unlock features as you build your family tree.
When you log into Mundia for the first time, you’ll see a welcome message guiding you through suggested family tree tasks. Below your tree you’ll find a “scoreboard” showing your tree building progress, the number of family members in your tree, and a link to your task list.
The tree building progress bar
How Many Family Tree Points do you Have?
Log in to Mundia now and click the “View tasks” button to see an overview of tasks you’ve completed, points you’ve earned and tasks awaiting completion.
Click the “Add now” Button to Complete Tasks
To complete a task simply click on the “Add now” button in your task list and you’ll see useful tips to help you complete the task. With each completed task you will earn points and we’ll guide you step-by-step from one task to the next.
Once you’ve worked your way through most of the task list, you would have made a great start to your family tree. In recognition of your tree building accomplishments, when you get 32 points you will get a Mundia Seedling badge that you can post to Facebook if you like.
In the future we’ll be adding more tasks to guide you through the tree building process and more rewards to recognize the work you do on your tree. Not only will you be able to earn more badges, you can expect to unlock new features and make interesting discoveries as you progress with your tree.
We hope you find this new feature helpful in growing your family tree and connecting with your relatives. Don’t forget to check it out now and let us know what you think.
Have fun!
